Activities and expertise

IRLAB coordinates and carries out research and/or services in the field of infrared spectroscopy applied to various matrices with the aim of determining different food characteristics (quantitative analysis, classification,  process and shelf-life studies, ..). Data processing of NIR spectra is carried out by informatic tools based on multivariate statistical analysis.
